We work with parents, schools, and colleges to provide high-quality tuition in core subjects (Maths, English, Science), exam preparation (GCSE, A-levels, SQA Nationals and Highers), SEND/SpLD support, and university-level tutoring. Popular subjects include Maths, English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics, Business Studies, Geography, Computer Science, Religious Studies, History and Languages.

Safeguarding Commitment

Tutor Prof Ltd is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All tutors are expected to share this commitment.


All appointments are subject to satisfactory pre-engagement checks including:


  • Enhanced DBS check (England/Wales) or PVG Scheme Membership (Scotland), renewed every three years (or sooner at client request).
  • Verification of identity, qualifications, and employment history.
  • Professional references, including from the most recent employer where applicable.


Shortlisted candidates will also be required to complete a self-declaration form regarding criminal history and suitability to work with children, in line with statutory guidance.


What We’re Looking For

We are looking for honest, reliable and committed tutors who:


  • Have strong subject knowledge and experience relevant to the curriculum.
  • Are enthusiastic about supporting learners’ progress and confidence.
  • Can commit to students for at least one academic session.
  • Agree to abide by TutorProf’s Code of Practice and safeguarding policies.
  • Hold (or are willing to obtain) a valid enhanced DBS or PVG certificate.

·       A summary of your qualifications and experience.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a structured interview (via Zoom), including safeguarding-related questions. Successful applicants will be matched to students once all vetting checks are complete.
